Pork Chops

  • 4 pieces chuleta de cerdo

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 units jitomate
  • 2 cloves ajo
  • 1 piece cebolla blanca
  • 2 units chiles guajillo
  • Aceite de oliva to taste
  • Sal to taste
  • Pimienta to taste

Cooking Steps

  • Sal and pepper the pork chops and let them rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • In a pot of boiling water, place the jitomate, cebolla, ajo, and chiles (all whole).
  • Cook for 10 minutes, then blend the ingredients with some cooking water until a smooth sauce is obtained. Reserve.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the pork chops.
  • Cook for 3 minutes, then pour the red sauce over the chops.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the pork chops in sauce and enjoy.
