Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 slices brioche or challah bread ¾-1 inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a large sheet pan, thoroughly whisk together the eggs, Baileys Irish cream, milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Arrange the bread in the egg mixture in a single layer and soak for at least 15-minutes, carefully flipping halfway through. If you wish, you can soak it overnight.
  • Heat a large skillet or griddle to medium heat. Coat with butter and in batches cook the bread for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm topped with your choice of butter, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and/or syrup.

Notes

You may refrigerate leftover French toast in an airtight container for one day or freeze it for up to three months.
