¼-inch thick potato slices take about 12-15 minutes to air fry the slices. If your slices are thicker, go with 15-18 minutes. Anything thinner than ¼ inch thick will take 10-12 minutes or less. A large basket style air fryer (7-quart or larger) will work best. Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes are the best potato type for this recipe. Don't skip soaking the potatoes in water before air frying if you want crispy slices. Whip up a batch of my Dill Aioli to dip the potato slices in.
